I've had this TV put in for some weeks. it absolutely was simple setup though upon initial look it absolutely was virtually what I expect. that's 100% attributed to the very fact that I did not purchase any HDMI cables thus I had to hook up my HDMI cable box from time warner using RCA cables. 
Let me tell you the image is pretty unhealthy if you are not using HDMI cables. Once I bought those ensuing hurdle I had was Time Warner's HDMI channels were unviewable, they kept blinking on/off and was extremely strange. It wasn't till I known as Time Warner and had them resync my cable box that everything came to life. 
Wholly canolies what a distinction. CBS, NBC, Discovery... all the HDMI channels were awesome. It then took me an hour and to travel to all or any my DVR recordings and alter from regular tv to HDMI channels. Even a basic news reports is dang close to spectacular viewing via Hi Def.

I even have watched some Netflix movies and DVD movies utilizing the 1080P up-convert on my DVD player and it's quite awesome but as compared to my buddies Blue Ray player it is not quite an equivalent. That being said I even have no complaints the least bit, the TV appearance great! I did purchase a brand new LG surround sound system to support the Fiber Optic Audio output being that the TV has simply has adequate audio. 
The presets on video are sensible and also the video wizard to assist setup the video for your specific atmosphere is sweet. For $800, no tax, free shipping and "same as money financing" (with signing up for an Amazon card) i am more than happy with this TV. typically a procurement of this size brings consumers remorse however i am still stoked.
