LG 47LD520 ReviewsI can't stand to own the smoothing choice (called TruMotion) turned on. It's purported to create TV look higher, however i feel it makes everything appear as if a soap opera. Luckily, it is easy to show off (Menu>Picture>TruMotion). Note: you will have to show off TruMotion for every individual input.
TV can look a bit juddery while not the smoothing, however it is a limitation of all 120Hz TVs, and it is a whole heap higher than having TruMotion turned on (in my opinion).
That said, movies and video games look fantastic with the smoothing turned off. My Xbox 360 and PS3 games look nice, as do Blu-ray movies.
I maxed out the three HDMI ports pretty quickly (Xbox 360, PS3, DVR), however I figure if i would like another one, it'd most likely be time to induce a receiver anyway.
It ought to be noted that there's just one set of element inputs.
Speakers are fine, nothing to jot down home concerning however they get the work done.
Remote needs you to purpose at a fairly specific spot (the lower-right corner of the TV). reasonably annoying, however I got used to it (I sit concerning ten feet away).
The swiveling stand is good (I flip it to face the kitchen when i am creating dinner), however it solely turns concerning twenty degrees.
Overall, i am terribly pleased with what I got for the value I paid!
